Zach began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2015 after finishing high school.
He had previously done MMA but wanted to focus more on the grappling side of martial arts, which led him towards his BJJ.
Zach found out very quickly that he wanted to focus on brazilian jiu jitsu and to become a student of the art. He also wanted to gain personal confidence, learn perseverance, resiliency, patience and to find more courage through the martial art.
Jiu Jitsu has assisted Zach to improve his personal wellbeing, confidence and attitude towards life.
Zach has been training in BJJ for over 5 years now, and still enjoys being on the mats training and teaching others through his role as an assistant coach. Zach was awarded his purple belt in 2018 by Professor Chep Krummel
